PCR hold exploration licences for 2 blocks in the Puntamayo Basin, which is located towards the border with Ecuador. I understand that Ecopetrol, the Colombian State Oil Company, is investing quite a bit of money in the region. I also understand that Puntamayo in general is considered a mix of low cost, low risk and higher cost high reward plays. Colombia is apparently about to become a 1 million barrel a day oil producer.
