If you believe that, then I guess you believe in the tooth fairy too.
Not trying to be disrespectful here, but you cant believe everything you read.
Allow me to demonstrate, using the US as an example...
Official unemployment 8.5%
Official CPI 0.4% (as you quoted)
And yet a huge proportion of the population is receiving food stamps because their weekly grocery bills have sky-rocketed!!!!!
The US have had 40yrs fun in the sun with their fiat money monopoly. The party is over and now they are trying to inflate their way out of trouble, at the expense of their middle class citizens.
imo the world will soon need to restructure its money system. Gold will probably form a component of such change
