We may not know him well but he is highly respected in the industry and has a proven track record .

If he has the numbers to get elected the message to the rest of the board surely would be to get on board with him or go the way of Boon. My reading of the situation is that under him changes that affect the bottom line would move a lot faster than under the current management who are moving in the right direction but probably not at the speed required.
