This might be of more than passing interest to LYC'ers. I'm surprised that no one has picked up on this snippet given that it's been one week since it made the news:
"The Radioactive Waste Management Bill started its passage through the Senate today, where it was debated for over an hour.
The Bill will pave the way for Australia's first nuclear waste repository, and currently the only nominated site for such a facility is Muckaty Station, in the Northern Territory"
