Maddoc: I believe that short-term the whole re-rating of ADX will solely depend on SD resp. the successful testing of SD. However, I see very good longer-term potential for ADX - personally I like the other prospect in Tunisia as well as the great opportunity in Romania. IF or hopefully WHEN ADX's sp is much higher after a successful SD test, then they can raise the necessary funds to go "hunting" for those other substantial opportunities. SHELL link-up to me would be an "out of left-field" kind of event...
So to answer your query more directly: IF you believe that VIL gives you a better return on SD than you ought to stick to that. IF - for whatever reasons - SD should not come up trumps, ADX has still good opportunities ahead, i.e. it will be a less "all or nothing" play.
I am holding ADX for the longer-term outlook.
