Lynas has given great details on the waste itself and has suggested waste storage plans. The current stage is better described as final details. Those thinking it's all up in the air are either "shorters come lately" or ignoring the first five weeks of 2012.
The current actions were the obvious moves we should expect based on the approval. There was minimal cost and no downside to asking for a judicial review and there will be no reason for the opposition not to request the injunction for the same reasons.
Neither action has a chance of success against the overwhelming expert evidence that Lynas is very low radioactivity all well below the international hazardous standards. It is little more than glorified concrete not unlike a great many road bases in the world.
Lynas' great caution in handling procedures does not make the non-hazardous materials more dangerous. It simply reflects the safety culture and the state of the art operations that are Lynas.
Bottom line is this week's endless bad read here is a reflection of a peak in sentiment. That sentiment was unable to knock the price down in the last trading session and the auction was positive after the opposition activities were fully published. Sellers are exhausted and shorters are playing their final cards and tapping out the short bank.
I bought more and you'll know why Monday. It's just that simple.
