pretty sure also that the bigger players make it hard for startups, blocking infrastructure, general obfuscation...modern day marfia style stuff.
Was it Virgin (or an some earlier company branding) that had to head to the media to highlight the poor cousin way it was being treated by the bigger players hand in hand with the airport management in an effort to keep the airline down.
hard today for the little bloke to get a fair and reasonable start anywhere in Oz today......councils, chamber of commerce are their own marfia with great resources and contacts to squash any upstart that threatens the status quo of money flow.
Would be interesting to hear the 'unofficial' inside line on this airline.
