Here's an example to make it easy for you.
Say this is the buy queue:
60,000
100,000
25,000
Round numbers, nothing unusual.
Then say someone sells 17,188 shares into that queue.
Now the queue looks like this:
42,812
100,000
25,000
Then let's say the next person sells 60,000.
This 60,000 will show up in two transactions - 1 for 42,812 and another for 17,188.
The the buy queue looks like this:
82,812
25,000
See the pattern?
It only takes one order to start something like this off.
