tis a curious thing. the silver story so strong...... yet the price so weak? The silver price action with the recent spike in gold was hardly inspiring. Macmin got some support but the silver price barely raised its head.
I notice comex silver strocks have started to fall a little now but the gains over the last six months suggest the supply/demand equation has balanced itself a little?
The CEO of macmin Bob McNeil related the current silver story to Aussie wool stockpile of recent times. Despite the fact that the wool stockpile was visibily reducing day by day, wool prices did not rise in anticipation at all, and only rose when the last bale was sold. Bobs expectations were the same with silver.
The big question is when will the silver stockpile hit zero? I watch the comex stocks. In the meantime the silver price to me seems to be in the doldrums.
