I'd like to add Ivor's most quotable item in his report out today (Ivor is a highly credentialled director of research at Baillieu)....

In his table "Leverage to Exploration Outcomes" he values KAR's equity at $10 to $49 per share - depending on a low or high case scenario.

I think this report, plus news of the TOL loading up with beer for an imminent departure, put a rocket under the price from about 3 pm...and likely to continue tomorrow.

Re all the comments - rather boring - about the tiny trades, manipulation, it's my opinion that most of it is genuine buys and sells. The tiny trades will become even more common in future as large orders are placed with brokers with the instruction to take the av VWAP for the day - so brokers will divide an order for 100,000 shares by the 6 hours, or 360 minutes, or 22,000 seconds in the day's trading space to sell 'x' share per minute, per second, or whatever. Infuriating, but will get worse.

Interesting to note in Ivor's report that he values the Peru potential as higher value than Browse or Brazil. Ivor's numbers are likely to jump when we get the new DeGolyer and Macnaughton reserve estimates in the next few weeks.
