As per today's presentation, $20 million of that supposed $80 million is for additional 2012 drilling.

I think the company is spinning a line regarding an imminent acquisition. Somehow this rumour has gained some traction, particularly through unreliable broker connections. It is meant to ameliorate the pain of the recent major shareholder sell down.

There is a lot of spin going on here at the moment IMHO.

Quite simply, major shareholders wanted to take some profits, so they decided to sell to European institutions, and put some positive spin on the story, and spread a positive rumour or two.

And it did not hurt to release a resource upgrade at the same time, to deflect attention, a classic political manoeuvre. Julia would have been proud. These guys are smart and clever, which is why I originally invested with them.

If I had purchased recently at $1.12 then I would feel like I had been shot in the knees, and played for a fool while the company corporate heavyweights make their money.

Fortunately, I purchased at 16 cents, but am still not happy at the way this subtle deception has been handled.

I still like the company though, and think that $1.20 by the end of 2012 is a possibility (and especially if the company treats their shareholders with some respect, and does not take the average retail investor for a mindless moron).

It would seem that they have got away with it all, on the back of 2011 success, and on the presumption that most people always want to think the best of a situation, especially if they are involved. Well done NST.

Someone tell them that truth is always the best policy, I did.
