Reckon you are spot on. Once the decommissioning stops next year, US are going to be challenged to keep U308 up, and there would be strong government support to shore up the supply. As per conclusion, this petition should never have been given a hearing. With NRC behind this one, we should be confident of a good outcome, but really it is probably something that should never have seen the light of day...serial pest indeed!
