Although I am thankful that the Australian Government is now finally doing something to realistically assist Corby, the question in my mind still remains as to why has it taken so long for this government to come clean with her legal team. 92% of Australian people thought she was an innocent victim. Why all of a sudden and what’s pushed them into action? Why did they not do a few of months ago what they are doing now? Has Indonesia finally been given the right signals from Canberra about her case? Its obvious to me in the past there wasn’t a good signals coming out of Canberra about her, it sounded more like, we don’t want this problem let her burn, all at the expense of relations between the two peoples of Indonesia and Australia. Some leadership!
