To all readers, I am not a leopard who changes spots or being in any way disingenuous.
The key point in my original post is:
"I suspect that Anwar sees Lynas as the perfect platform to launch his election campaign against the government. 2012 could prove a bumpy year!"
If and to the extent that Lynas' LAMP opeerations are not squeaky clean, just one mistake will provide fire for Malaysian opposition parties.
And I must admit, self-appointed Lynas spokeman, Aziz, comes across as naive, complacent, condescending, seeking to avoid straight questions and covering his backside with the so-called letters for Lynas to take back waste to Australia.
This does not give me confidence.
Likewise I am concerned whether the Lynas LAMP will have Malaysian management under the Bumiputra policy, or direct management and supervision by safety-aware Australian engineers and supervisors.
These are worth queries and deserve answers.
