Simon Crean was never embraced by the Australian people. Almost no-one would want him to represent us on the international stage.
Given the problems Julia Gillard already has in gaining the acceptance of the people she would have to be an absolute imbecile to appoint Simon Crean; even more so following the outrageous & highly diivisive personal attacks he initiated against Kevin Rudd.
Such a ridiculous appointment would be highly inflammmatory & confirm in everyone's mind that Gillard's political judgement is fundamentally flawed.
