Have investigated the story of all mines closing this would seem to be unfounded . Only 2 have been closed so far. The town is stressed from the mines downward spiral . People unsure of future so gossip is rife. As far as local newspapers the only one online I know is the" kalgoorlie miner". It occasionally has something about Norseman
