I have never heard of the market he is talking about – unless it is the CFD market.
the trouble is now many are going to be doubly confused - I just feel my answer will definitely apply to most here.
if you buy shares "before" the ex-divvy date you will get the upcoming divvy, if you don't you will not. keep it simple I say :-)
