I have never understood why if people dislike everything about the company they dont just sell.
Personally, when I decided CCC had good prospects in terms of land/mines but a proven track record of sloppy capital management I sold. I dont get why people would want to sell, because they believe the company is bad yet they hold on. If its a bad investment, why not cut your losses and invest in something with better prospects or is safer.
If you invested for fundamental reasons, why on earth are you staying put based on short term technical propositions. Are you a fundamental trader? Are you a technical trader? Or are you just letting your emotions override every decision.
IMO the first way to becoming a successful investor/trader is to realise it is no else's fault but your own that you lost money on the market.
(disclaimer: I'm not saying CCC is a good or bad investment, but if in YOUR mind its a bad investment, that is when my little rant applies)
