Dear butcherbird, being retired I give back to my community with usually two days of voluntary work a week. Do you do that? But this is community work from which the community benefits (yeh maybe too socialist a concept for you) not work making money for an employer. This is work that is satisfying to do. Totally different to normal employment, from which people expect and need to draw a living wage. Dave R.
