While I certainly don't agree with it their point is that the LAMP has no value until it is up and running, free from sovereign risk. Fair enough, get over it, IMO it is a risk worth taking.
You could equally apply the same logic to their two "pets" re execution so no big deal.
The international perception of Australia as a risky investment is more pertinent IMO. Better hope BHP doesn't cancel the $10B Qld coal expansion in favour of Indonesia or the stuff we can't mention will really hit the fan.
