Actually I found the disconnected world to be the long lost real world - not really sure what this one is any more. Being so connected certainly takes something from life.

Have lost touch with CVN a bit, really waiting for the market to gain fresh optimism in it, then will refresh my assessment of valuation with a view to reducing, and probably quitting. Freida, the new faces here and the recent sp recovery all testament for the potential for revival of excess exuberance. Not expecting 90 but a return to the 20's, perhaps even the 30's might not be implausible, and would provide me with a whole lot better exit, albeit still at a loss.

A day trip into Siberia would have given a good taste of the area and of the dramatic scenery for sure, but a bit more time isolation and solitude makes the experience a whole lot deeper. Great weather helps too.

CVN might yet shine again, but if so likely to be more luck than anything. It no longer meets my criteria for long term potential, but I think ST upside is there. I probably want to be at least half out before Phoenix is tested, but all depends on pricing and assessment of information that comes to hand.
