    Howdy All

Well the HC posts have been running wild since the MtM ann of yesterday with speculation galore.

Yes, the situation with the "proposed" National Park is unexpected, but as has been mentioned, it seems to be a recent proposition from a Labor State government looking to garner as many votes as they can.

Having said that, this should not detract from a very significant win for MNM after a long, drawn out saga with Calcifer over MtM tenements.

MNM have secured these tenements without going through the expense of the trial process and also having Calcifer pay legals fees to date.

Basically, MNM management have got what they fought 3-4 years for ie. legal ownership of MtM tenements.

MNM management will now be pro-actively pursuing the ILUA with the native custodians and looking for formalisation of same in the near future.

This will then lead into working with the various Govt departments to clarify this National Park "proposal".

I have it on good authority that MNM management are fully aware of the concerns that have been raised re "proposed" NP, that they are extremely happy with the outcome of the court proceedings with Calcifer, to acknowledge this is a great outcome for MNM and it's SH's and ask for your support and patience through what will be a very busy few weeks ahead for the management team.

Whilst I am sure IK would like to take every call and respond to every email, I suggest that we take a deep breath and relax a bit and allow our management team to get on with the tasks at hand, continue working on delivering on the current projects and ticking off the boxes one by one.

Every call and email they must address takes time away from them being able to focus on the core projects, of which, MtM is now an active (and for me a very exciting) one.

Please do not take my email as being patronising, it is not meant that way at all, we just need cooler heads to prevail.

    Cheers K

PS Considering we now have MtM in our back pocket when we didn't last Friday - I believe the fundamentals of MNM are better than ever, irrespective of SP action today.
