"At the end of the day this comes down to $$$. I doubt they are actually concerned about the environment and are more interested in securing a larger share of the profits."

Investorpaul, I think some of the locals may actually be concerned about the environment simply because of the previous misinformation fed to them.
It is up to the govt to make a decision and properly inform the locals to reassure them of the facts.

We all knew we had no set date. We still don't but this looks like its now being heavily debated with Simons visit.

I am very confident Burnakura (including the current gold only resource at Gabanintha) justifies the current share price.
Recent very positive diamond drilling results suggest the resource may be understated and at the least not fully explored. This resource alone offers upside from current levels.
Then we have very high probability of a very good size resource at Gabanintha at very good grades.
Anyone that understands the history of this mining area and knows most pits are shallow and most drilling was halted when it hit copper. Gab could end up being worth at least as much as Burnakura but whatever is discovered there is sure to add strong value.
Most that invest should also understand that Jervois is very likely to be more valuable than Burnakura, i.e. worth much more than $1.40.
12Mt at 1.5-1.6% copper equivalent outcropping at surface. That is a strong resource with very high likelihood of growing strongly confirmed by the consultant that gave us the jorc.
We have very strong upside at home with the current price easily justified by the first small mine.
RBS values Burnakura at 75c without the heap leach or the expansion to 500,000tpa or the addition of a flotation circuit for the fourth stage. These expansions are where the value is added.
75c valuation will easily double after stage 1.
Its not a case of hoping to find resources at Gabanintha.
We know it's there and just need to drill it out to Jorc and include it in the mine plan. Judging by the limited deeper drill results there is very high grade gold copper ore present.

If Andash is delayed we accelerate exploration and development at home and we add strong value to the current sp.
Those with fears over delays on Andash have sold this down several times now and it always bounces back.
Worst case, Andash is lost for good and those holding for Andash alone would sell down but again we will bounce back on the back of our assets here and then continue much higher without Andash holding us back any longer. Without Andash our upside is not as large, but it is still very strong. It is still multiples of the current share price.
Without Andash we have a very strong cash balance to accelerate expansions and development at home.

For me this remains a case of my investment is backed by the Australian assets which will give further strong growth and Andash remains as a free option for even more upside.
For me and others any weakness this might create will be just another trading opportunity.
My confidence on the value of the assets here will have me buying back short term trades again on any decent dips.
Chances are good that Andash comes through as well despite these latest antics.
