Have been tryng to get to the bottom of the g/m thing. I have mad three phone calls to FML, CRE and Barricks- no response but I will keep on trying.
The Apollo pit, as many have said, is free dig so I've made a rough assumption in the meantime.
'C' class fill is a material provided by quarries. It contains a mixture of rock and dirt. This type of material is what looks like is being loaded in the photos.
This material runs at 1.7m3/t but lets call it 2m3/t,
Now lets go for 5 gram/m ..middle of 1-10g/m
(Concrete dry is 2.4m3 /t)
The result is 2.5g/t
I know that assumptions are very dangerous so I'll keep working on it but I'm happy to hear any facts in the meantime.
