South Australia should give a lift with an announcement in March of drilling results at the Lake Phillipson project. This will increase the indicated resource at the multi-seamed area near the non-permanent Lake at Phillipson.

MD Brian Flannery sent the coal for testing at Coober Pedy for diesel from coal potential. The coal is a higher grade than CNOOC of China/AIM Altona Energy's Arckaringa coal; Linc Energy's coal at East Wintinna, Arckaringa; and Western Plains Resources' coal at Penhryn.
If diesel from coal is found viable the the area could produce upwards of 4 billion barrels and WEC would probably then seek a major partner.

WEC own the railway line that covers the whole of Phillipson that is the size of England.

WEC are awaiting a drilling go ahead near Coober Pedy for precious minerals. MD Brian Flannery has indicated that they are ready to drill.
