I think your in for a shock....
IMO if you think Australia is still the land of milk and honey then your living under a rock. It's now one of the most expensive countries in the world to live in, with some of the most expensive property to boot. 9 x your average wage buys your average house in Sydney( 2nd only to HK), historically it's been no where near this....
