The wind does not seem to be filling the sails down in 10 yr turn around BM imho. That land has competing power dollar synergies in as much as,,, the dirt is worth bare minimum $100,000 an acre as potential new western corridor sub divisions for the greater metro area. Now that's not going down that's going north , and open cut is the only viable way to bring lignite of any quality and quantity to market.

When you factor in the unstable nature of lignite, that is to say that lignite exposed to the air in clumps, will self combust no matter how wet within as little as 24 hours.

This is why the 200,000 tonne per day magazines in the valley for lignite power production have a critical throughput time frame of less than 18 hours.
