No, it's not a bad...TATA is commercialising DSC for steel strip roofing and in this application have to waterproof the cell so the cell/electrolyte isn't damaged. Don't know how Pilkington glass intend to do their windows but they might not need this layer?

If you want to read DYESOLs version of the TATA project, there is a jumble of small type paragraphs running into each other without bullet points or sub-headings buried on this page on their website
...which is where most companies would bury the description of a multi-billion dollar company maker during a do-or-die SPP... oh god...
to get the real feel of getting there, go to the home page, click Company on the top menu, then select Commercialisation Projects on the sub headings on the left...Pilkington doesn't rate a mention on this page but may be somewhere else...have you heard of the Pilkington project usualsuspect?
