An interesting perspective Bruce. Thanks for replying. So the god just continues to exist but for no purpose because there is no one left to believe in it anymore.
So we have 3 different perspectives:
Ktriana who says that cultures create gods but then they die when the culture dies. Bruce who infers that the Roman god and saints were created by Roman culture from pre-existing Pagan entities and all gods live on, then we have Righteous Snuff who says that his God created man but anyone who believes in other Gods is deluded.
So not a lot of cohesion amongst the respondents there.
It is plainly obvious that cultures create Gods, and where men create Gods they often do it in the image of themselves. Therefore Gods only exists in the minds of men. For if there were no men, then there would be no Gods.
