Hi Bluebird,

not sure about stemming the tide given the ratio of sellers to buyers. More of a long term holder myself so less concerned about price moves but I also checked on how many JV's Newcrest has done recently and what the terms were:-

Surprisingly I couldn't find that many - I found two over the past year mentioned in the exploration info for Newcrest.

Sumatra Copper and Gold - Tandai project $12m earn-in for 70% minimum spend $1.75m

Manus Copper Gold Project- $6m earn in for 80% of a 75%ish stake for net of 60.78% of the Manus Gold Project

So maybe we will be appearing in Newcrest's presentations too in the near future!
