    Hi Squidd

spot on mate, this is moving slow and is testing all of us. My fear is that if these permits and conventions are not given to SDL soon, then our chances of a white knight coming on board could be gone. IMO the time is now for a suitor to come on in and offer a price or jump on board for a piece of the pie. The iron ore price is in our favour and it's pretty obvious to all and sundry that the big boys are looking, but for how long.
IMO Glencore could gobble up someone like Atlas, firb notwithstanding for say 3 billion and get a foothold in the Pilbara. Atlas has in its sights approx 40mt per annum once they get it all sorted, and I believe this would be quite attractive for someone like Glencore Xstrata. Just have a look at Atlas and you will see.
If Glencore were to come on board they would have to pay a lot more to get sdl up and running, however the big picture of owning major infrastructure within a major mining province and a world class mining operation are quite simply to massive to ignore.

    Just my thoughts,

    Cheers,

    CB
