Would be good if Palmer had some fresh ideas of why the mining tax is bad. He used the same stale scaremongering statements that the industry used 18 months ago and that the public has now come to see is without merit.

Again Palmer tried to say that the industry will shrink and miners will go to Canada for example. This will demolish the industry, he said. Give it up .. is that all he can do? Parrot two year old worthless statements.

What about some of the other stupid childish things he said. "Oh. I wont be putting money towards a high court challenge .. my companies will? WHAT? "

Does he actually have any good fresh opinions apart from trying to buy Fairfax with Gina?

Why do they want to do that? So they can push their outdated selfish opinions down our throat ..... only fools will listen.

Excellent stuff, 123. What a goose Palmer is. Let him go to Canada. Let him take his bat and ball. If he goes, someone else will do the job and not expect to exert so much power and influence over government. Let him go to the High Court. But what we mustn't let him do is spread this disease that having money somehow makes his influence and opinion mean more than everyone else's. It's a born to rule mentality that is not in the national interest. The national interest that says the mining boom belongs to all of us since we all own the mineral wealth. The national interest that says the super rich should pay more since from start up they seemed to have paid very little in the way of taxes. You really have to wonder why the Liberals are supporting these people......well, no you don't..... since they represent the born to rule mentality and are still squealing like stuck pigs that they didn't have the negotiating skills to take government at the last election.
