I haven't taken the leap of faith yet. I was saving my empties for a brew but never got around to it. There were some blokes at work who got into it with brewing in pressurised kegs that they then fitted into a modified fridge at had it on tap! It became part of their man cave set up.
I would be interested in hearing brewing tips.
You say plastic bottles. What type? I couldn't imagine beer in plastic. Even if someone had no bottles I'm sure a pub would place some aside for you.
I know you can regulate the strength, but what's the average? A 5% content???
