Hi All.
Cameroon has set up a new Group to look after the mineral/mining side of things. That was only around 1 month ago.How can we blame SDL for delays, when it is obvious that the Cameroon Government are delaying things by changing coarse at this time.
The Cameroon Government have to get this project with its Rail,Roads and Ports Infrastructure right first time.
Other countries are involved as well. Not just Cameroon and The Congo Republic, but also Gabon,The Central African Republic and perhaps the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The Rail,Roads and Ports are Major projects that will change this part of Africa for ever.
How long has the Rail and Port projects in the Mid West of Australia been going on for?years that is how long.
Those Rail and Port projects are just for one area in West Australia. They still have not sorted out when it will be started, who is building the projects, what the cost is going to be.
How long has BRM,FMG and others been trying to get access to BHP and RIO Rail lines?Again years.
Again just involving the Pilbara, not even other states, just West Australia.
How quick do you think it will be to come to an agreement for Cameroon,The Congo Republic and Gabon.
It looks like Gabon iron ore could be going through The Congo Republic to get to Cameroon and then by Rail to the Port in Cameroon.
Cameroon will want to get a good deal from other countries to allow iron ore through their country for export.
If these talks drag on,do we blame SDL for the delay?
Regards
Westcott.
