I'd prefer that London stopped its moronic immigration program to reduce congestion pressures rather than digging tunnels beneath the surface. How are these machines powered, by solar or wind? Of course not, they're going to consume a frightening amount of diesel - so where are environmentalists? Oh that's right, all nice and quite when it suits their lifestyles.
