re: Ann: Wilgar high grade results and possib... After plotting up all the holes from the last 2 releases I thought I'd do some (very rough!) number crunching to get an idea of possible contained gold.

the holes fell in a 60 x 35m area with most intercepts roughly 0-20m - so 60x35x20 gives a volume of 42,000 m2 times by the oxide SG of 2.38 gives a touch under 100,000 tones. If we make the wild assumption that the entire volume runs say 5g/t (generous I feel and a healthy gold grade for todays deposits) we get.....

16,000 ounces of contained gold for the area north of Wilgar.

All very quick and rough calculations but a ball-park figure. I'll be more interested to see the resource that comes out for Wilgar eventually as that did have some pretty big gold intercepts
