carbon tax, page-39

Spy (et al), I think that we need to apply a little clear thinking on this matter.

It is apparent from the general vein of posts by those "against" that those who are crying about lying are Liberal voters (extreme statements about communists etc indicate this). Now fair enough that these voters may argue against the introduction of the carbon tax if they believe that the science is wrong I think that they are going down the wrong path by doing so but they do have the right to put argument against. However this right should not be mixed up with the obligation which Gillard was under not to proceed with the introduction of the tax. The only voters who have the right to feel agrieved are those who were against the tax, accepted the promise and acted upon it by voting Gillard in. I find it odd that the Liberals are kicking up about a broken promise which, when all matters are considered, has stuff all to do with them.
