as far as costs were concerned, watso came up with a considerably higher cost. nevertheless, if the company comes up with a cash cost of $1088, for future production, then it would be ok, for shareholders (including watso) to accept the figure..
in a recent bcn post, some poster referred to an "argent" (ie the previous owners of the mine) report, where reference was made to some plan, where some guys with mining experience, were going to do the mining for argent, for 10% of the profits. it appears that these people, have a track record, of developing underground mines.
the problem may have been nothing more, than incompetent people running something, in which they had no experience - or failing that, they could not employ people, with the necessary knowledge.
maybe the grade of 3 gm per tonne for a small underground mine, was simply too low
