fwiw I'll back up Chris, I've dealt with numerous ex CFD staff, integrity isn't high on their agenda.

Here's another example of poor morals. Without going into detail, which do you think is more likely to receive institutional funding, a cure or a treatment?

It's sad that much of our health is determined by funding direction. My son is type 1 diabetic, when he was diagnosed three years ago his doctor proudly announced he expects a cure within five years.

At an average of 11,000 to fund treatment of a type 1 sufferer, with over 40,000 registered on the NDSS that's a $440,000,000 industry in Australia alone per annum. That excludes all the health professional side AND excludes type 2 sufferers. (type 1 accounts for around ten percent)Diabetes is a billion dollar industry in Australia.

There are many things about this industry that I find shameful. At the top of the list is the situation that if a company were to search for funding, thier chances decrease significantly when the word cure is mentioned.

I informed my sons doctor a cure is unlikely.

    Thats my beef.
