Having said that, while the price of nickel is under $9 per pound, they will struggle for profitability (unless the $AUD falls significantly). IMO, of course.

Comsec has just updated their forecast for Mincor, and is now predicting a small loss for the full year - down from predicting six cents EPS a month ago.

Obviously, that prediction is based upon their forecasts of nickel price over the next three months. The last six months has probably averaged about $9 per pound (three months above and three months below).

I think that Comsec will be proven wrong, but I also think that the company will not be much above break even.
On the upside, I seem to remember that they expense their exploration, and we may see good news on that front.
