GENERAL: GEN: Response to Query from NZX Market Supervision
Genesis acknowledges the letter from NZX Market Supervision of 20 March.
Genesis has not received any queries from shareholders regarding its
solvency.
Genesis can confirm that it is able to pay its debts as they fall due and
continues to be solvent.
Genesis continues to comply with its continuous disclosure obligations under
the NZSX Listing Rules.
Genesis notes that its full year results announcement that was released to
the market on 29 February 2012 confirmed that it would seek shareholder
approval for the proposed merger with Mariposa Health Limited ("Mariposa").
Progress continues to be made with negotiation with Mariposa of terms for
definitive documentation for the proposed merger but no date has been set for
the meeting yet.
Genesis will advise shareholders of the date for the special meeting and
provide full details of the proposed merger as soon as it is possible.
