Hopefully some of the strategic plan will include staff training. This store used to pride itself on the level of service offered to customers. It was what distinguished itself from the rest. Personally I believe from visiting the stores, that floor managers appear to have gone and all that is left are inadequately trained staff (part timers/casuals?) who have no idea what they are selling and frankly couldnt care less if they sold the goods on offer or not. Regardless of all the corporate stuff that goes on the bottom line is still based on selling the product off the floor. Less money on corporate staff and more investment in floor staff.
