As much as I hate to admit it, it looks like the DOW is going to go for a run. Having taken 400pts shorting it the last month I'm itching to short it again. Might try my luck at 10656 if the opportunity presents with a really tight stop loss. I'm seeing a strong bullish divergence develop though and if we close in positive territory tonight, on volume in excess of 260 million, my shorting plans will have to be on hold till our spring time.
Another couple of interest rate rises, more job losses to cheap overseas labour, a plateauing/fall in real estate values, high energy prices and we might get a near perfect shorting opportunity in the not too distant future.
