somewhat agree however if WHN are any good at this game and the huge discoveries being made off east africa they SHOULD have good leverage to form a good deal.
If you remember MEOs deals where they got some $30m? from Petrobas for drilling of Artimes then that is what they should be doing and that would pay for some other ares of activity.
Hopefully though they are not TO GREEDY and ask too much and push GOOD JV partners away. Could that be why it is taking so long?
Alternatively the BIG companies do take a long time to make decisions as this is just another area in amongst many others for them - due iligence, board approvals etc etc
Lets hope they are good at this game- the added management they have just brought on appears positive for that concern.
