QLD were fine at one stage too. There is only one road for this lot and QLD is the example. Another is Victoria where the new incoming premier found he was left with a dogs breakfast to clean up. Same happened with the previous Cain/Kirner financial mess.
Newman will end up looking stupid once he gets in the job and it's most likely going to be on account of what he inherits from the previous.
