Thanks Jus - very interesting - a dangerous game is being played by the "shorters".
Whilst shorters can "borrow" stock for a time, they will have to buy back at some point to replace what has been sold.
Any idea what the short selling has been between 1st & 20th March ?
IMO, GMR will bounce strongly once the Balogo results are to hand and replacing the "shorts" will add to the buying pressure and cost them plenty !!
My view is the problems over in the Mali capital will be short term after which it will be business as usual there - bear in mind the leases in Mali are some distance away from the capital.
Our immediate focus is waiting on the overdue results from Balogo in Burkina Faso which is a stable Government.
