Clearly the explaination lies within a move by a CEO to estrange himself from the board. John Heugh could expect no other outcome. Apparently he has bit off more than could chew. Now the reason/s as to why Huegh made his move we do not know. Was it because the constitution of the board was not in the best interest of the company (as he has claimed) or was he out to protect his own back in the face of an impending move against him - for whatever reason? The answer lies within.
