Great news in my opinion.
- Removes funding uncertainty
- It keeps the share registry diversified. Selling to a few institutional investors would only make a low-ball takeover strategy easier to implement.
I think this capital raising may actually have a neutral or positive effect on the share price, given it derisks them going forward. Also, some may actually buy a few extra to get a few cheaper (seen it several times before).
I am happy to increase by investment holdings in beach by 1/8th. Its quite a modest dilution given the scale of what they are hoping to do. I suppose that is the advantage of also having strong revenues.
