We're assuming that CNX wold provide the capex to build a 25Mw power plant. What if they don't? what if someone else provides the capex and CNX provides the gas to run the plant. CNX's return would be much lower as the revenue raised from gas sold would be much lower than revenue from electricity. I remember reading sometime ago that the cost per panel to drill and startup was around $8 million. But CNX believe they can reduce that cost substantially as they gather further experience and expertise. I would love to see them complete Stage 1 - export the 5Mw of electricity and advance to Stage 2 but the cash is running out. The pilot plant has proven the technology works, now take it somewhere where we can actually get paid for it.
Despite what sounds like a negative post I'm still holding what I have and believe there will be a turnaround.
Cheers
