ZT, of course Can-Do should clean out current heads... especially if they are tainted or seen to be political appointees.
However, the public service is supposed to an a-political organisation that provides frank and fearless advice to its Ministers.
Its the public service that is doing the due diligence on policies. Whats the point in doing DD if the political head is marching to the beat of a different drum?
Nothings changed. The pendulum has simply swung the other way. Which means we will eventually get a dogs breakfast because the public service wont be able to provide unfiltered frank and fearless advice.
